Tommy Fleetwood’s incredible approach yields eagle at THE PLAYERS
In the final round of THE PLAYERS Championship 2019, Tommy Fleetwood lands his 204-yard approach within 3 feet of the cup at the par-5 16th hole. He would the putt for eagle.
In his final round at the PLAYERS Championship, Tommy Fleetwood hit 11 of 14 fairways and 13 of 18 greens in regulation, finishing at 13 under for the tournament. Fleetwood finished his day tied for 5th at 13 under; Rory McIlroy is in 1st at 16 under; Jim Furyk is in 2nd at 15 under; and Jhonattan Vegas and Eddie Pepperell are tied for 3rd at 14 under.
At the 423-yard par-4 first, Fleetwood got on in 2 and missed his par putt from 5 feet, finishing with a 3-putt bogey. This moved Fleetwood to 1 over for the round.
On the 558-yard par-5 11th, Fleetwood got on the green in 2 and two-putt for bogey, bringing Fleetwood to 2 over for the round.
On the 302-yard par-4 12th hole, Fleetwood reached the green in 2 and sunk a 6-foot putt for birdie. This moved Fleetwood to 1 over for the round.

After a drive to right intermediate rough on the par-5 16th, Fleetwood hit his 204 yard approach to 3 feet, setting himself up for a eagle. This moved Fleetwood to even-par for the round.
