Shane Lowry leads by one shot at RBC Heritage
In the opening round of the 2019 RBC Heritage, Shane Lowry takes the solo lead over Daniel Berger, Ryan Moore and many others after carding a 6-under 65 on Thursday.
In his third round at the RBC Heritage, Patrick Cantlay hit 6 of 14 fairways and 11 of 18 greens in regulation, and had a great day on the green leaving no misses on putts within 10 feet. Cantlay finished his day tied for 5th at 8 under with Scott Piercy, Emiliano Grillo, Trey Mullinax, C.T. Pan, and K.J. Choi; Dustin Johnson is in 1st at 10 under; and Ian Poulter, Rory Sabbatini, and Shane Lowry are tied for 2nd at 9 under.
On the 502-yard par-5 second hole, Patrick Cantlay reached the green in 3 and sunk a 3-foot putt for birdie. This moved Patrick Cantlay to 1 under for the round.
On the 469-yard par-4 third hole, Cantlay reached the green in 2 and sunk a 24-foot putt for birdie. This moved Cantlay to 2 under for the round.
On the par-4 10th, Cantlay's 157 yard approach to 4 feet set himself up for the birdie on the hole. This moved Cantlay to 3 under for the round.
At the 192-yard par-3 14th, Cantlay hit a tee shot 194 yards at the green, setting himself up for the 13-foot putt for birdie. This moved Cantlay to 4 under for the round.
