Daniel Berger sinks 23-foot birdie putt at THE PLAYERSIn the opening round of THE PLAYERS Championship 2019, Daniel Berger rolls in a 23-foot putt to make birdie at the par-5 16th hole.
In his final round at the PLAYERS Championship, Daniel Berger hit 12 of 14 fairways and 9 of 18 greens in regulation, finishing at 1 under for the tournament. Berger finished his day tied for 67th at 1 under; Rory McIlroy is in 1st at 16 under; Jim Furyk is in 2nd at 15 under; and Jhonattan Vegas and Eddie Pepperell are tied for 3rd at 14 under.
After a 305 yard drive on the 532-yard par-5 second, Berger chipped his fourth shot to 9 feet, which he rolled for two-putt bogey on the hole. This moved Berger to 1 over for the round.
Berger's tee shot went 169 yards to the left greenside bunker and his bunker shot went 20 yards to the green where he had a two-putt for bogey on the 177-yard par-3 third. This moved Berger to 2 over for the round.
On the 471-yard par-4 fifth hole, Berger reached the green in 2 and sunk a 26-foot putt for birdie. This moved Berger to 1 over for the round.
On the 583-yard par-5 ninth, Berger got on the green in 4 and two-putt for bogey, bringing Berger to 2 over for the round.
