2021 Season
After beginning the Forme Tour season with no status, parlayed a sponsor’s exemption int tournament access and took full advantage. Made a late-season charge, posting three of his top-10s—all top-fives, including a win—coming in the Tour’s final three tournaments. Closed the year in second place on the Points List, 36 points out of the No. 1 slot.
-
Forme Tour Championship: Completed his inaugural Forme Tour season by recording his third consecutive top-five finish—this one coming at Huntsville GC in mid-September. Was in the hunt for another title until a late double bogey on No. 14 on the final day at the weather-shortened event ended his chances. Turned in rounds in the 60s to T4 with Keller Harper and Ian Holt. Closed the year with 16 consecutive sub-par rounds, 16 of them in the 60s and 12 in succession.
-
Rolling Green Championship: Maintained his hot streak in his next start following his breakthrough win in Ohio. Opened 68-67-67 and made the turn in 4-under on the final day at Rolling Green GC outside Philadelphia. Rattled off six consecutive pars before a birdie at the par-3 16th. Made two more pars coming in to shoot a 5-under 65, good for a solo-second finish, two strokes behind winner Andrew Yun.
-
Forme Open at TPC River's Bend: With his father, Norman, caddying for him, opened 66-62 in Maineville, Ohio, and took a share of the 36-hole lead with Trey Shirley. Maintained his advantage through three rounds, with Carson Young, three shots ahead of a trio of players. Was two strokes behind Young through the front nine but caught him when he birdied No. 11. The two then traded pars for the next five holes until he forged ahead with a birdie on No. 17 that Young couldn’t match. Earned the victory when the two made par-5s on the 18th hole at TPC River’s Bend. When Young missed his birdie effort from eight feet, made a routine two-putt to win for the first time on a PGA TOUR-affiliated Tour.
-
Mackenzie Tour-PGA TOUR Canada Q-School-USA West 1: Finished T15 with three others at Soboba Springs GC in California in late-March to earn conditional Mackenzie Tour status.
