    A quick look at the four players who Monday qualified for this week’s Shriners Hospitals for Children Open in Las Vegas, Nevada. There was a 7-for-2 playoff with Gordan Brixi, Taggert Ridings, Roberto Diaz, Seamus Power and David Gazzolo the unlucky losers. The qualifier was conducted at Boulder Creek Golf Club in Boulder City, Nevada.

    Cuts made: 2
    Best finish: T36, 2019-20 A Military Tribute at the Greenbrier.
    Notes: His second time Monday qualifying this season after getting through in the season opening Military Tribute at the Greenbrier… Finished 62nd on the Korn Ferry Tour’s Regular Season Points List in 2019. … Has two career top-10s on the Korn Ferry Tour (T5, 2019 Country Club de Bogota Championship; T10, 2018 Ellie Mae Classic at TPC Stonebrae). … Appeared on SportsCenter’s Top-10 Plays for making a 100-foot putt at NCAA Regionals. … Was the 2017 Southern Conference Player of the Year.

    Notes: Finished second at the Lincoln Land Championship presented by LRS on the Korn Ferry Tour last season after being a late inclusion in the field… Had been on the Mackenzie Tour-PGA TOUR Canada prior with top five results in 2018 and 2019 on that tour… Missed eight of 11 cuts after runner up finish… Grew up as a hockey player… Wu owns the second-lowest scoring average (71.76) in Northwestern history, behind only Luke Donald (70.95). He was all-Big Ten twice, winning the conference’s scoring title as a junior, and was a second-team All-American that year.

Best finish was a pair of T4s in the season opening events in the Bahamas, his only top-10s of the season.

Named a 2nd team All-American in 2018-19...
