Vote between July 22 – August 2 to determine which PGA TOUR player receives $750,000 for charity

Which player do you think best navigated a challenging situation on the PGA TOUR this season? From July 22 – August 2 cast your vote for your favorite shot at PGATOUR.COM/MetLife to determine the 2019 MetLife MatchUp champion. The winning player will earn $750,000 for charity.

The MetLife MatchUp is a season-long competition across 18 select PGA TOUR events. At each of those 18 events, two players were pitted against one another in a fan vote to determine who successfully navigated a tough situation on the course. Each week a player was crowned, earning $15,000 for his charity, and advancing him to the final vote.

Last year’s MetLife MatchUp winner, Andrew Putnam, donated his winnings to the College Golf Fellowship in support of their mission to provide spiritual support for college golfers and coaches.

Bubba Watson won the MetLife MatchUp in 2017 and his donation was put towards the cost of building and equipping the new Studer Family Children’s Hospital at Ascension Sacred Heart, which opened in May 2019 in Pensacola, Florida. It is the region’s only children’s hospital and serves families across Northwest Florida, South Alabama, and South Georgia.

To date, 16 charities have benefited from the weekly donations, totaling $270,000. The PGA TOUR players who have advanced to the final fan vote include:

    Cameron Champ (Cameron Champ Foundation)
    Bryson DeChambeau (Bryson DeChambeau Foundation)
Luke Donald (Alliance of Families Fighting Pancreatic Cancer)
    Rickie Fowler (Rickie Fowler Foundation)
Max Homa (St. Jude Children's Research Hospital)
    Dustin Johnson (Dustin Johnson Foundation)
Kevin Kisner (Kevin and Brittany Kisner Foundation)
Danny Lee (Shriners Hospitals for Children)
Troy Merritt (MV Junior Golf Foundation)
    Francesco Molinari (Borne)
    Kevin Na (Kevin Na Foundation)
    Webb Simpson (The Oaks Charlotte)
    Brandt Snedeker (Brandt Snedeker Foundation)
Jordan Spieth (The Jordan Spieth Family Foundation)
    Cameron Tringale (College Golf Fellowship)
    Tiger Woods (TGR Foundation)

The winner of the 2019 MetLife MatchUp will be announced at THE NORTHERN TRUST during the CBS broadcast on Sunday, August 11.
