After making the turn Sunday at 5-under and 14-under overall, made five pars and four bogeys to close, including a crucial bogey on the 72nd hole. A par on No. 18 would have forced a playoff with Matt Ryan but instead dropped into second place, a stroke behind Ryan’s winning score.

Banco del Pacifico Open: After numerous close calls, finally broke through with a victory, capturing the title at Quito Tennis and GC in late-June, shooting a final-round 65—the low score of the day and the week. Forced a playoff with Drew Nesbitt after beginning the day six strokes off Nesbitt’s 54-hole advantage. Had a stretch of five birdies in seven holes on his back nine Sunday that put him in contention. Had a chance to win outright but made pars on his final two holes of regulation, leaving his birdie putt on the 72nd hole an inch short. In the playoff, hit a driver and a pitching wedge from 185 yards to 10 feet and drained the birdie putt for the victory.
-
The Club at Weston Hills Open: Stayed in contention all week at The Club at Weston Hills, shooting a third-round 65 that moved him within three shots of 54-hole leader MJ Maguire. Was 5-under through 12 holes in his final round but could only muster pars the rest of the way, unable to put pressure on eventual winner Brandon Matthews. Finished alone in third, at 20-under.
