GLENEAGLES, Scotland -- Europe has won seven of the last nine Ryder Cups and hasn't lost this event at home in 21 years. With the world's top-ranked player (Rory McIlroy) and the world's current top Ryder Cup player (Ian Poulter, who is 12-3 in his Ryder Cup matches) on its roster, it's no surprise that Europe is favored by many to win this week at Gleneagles.
How will it play out this weekend? Our PGATOUR.COM experts on-site at Gleneagles, Sean Martin and Mike McAllister, have different viewpoints, as do our staffers back in the U.S. Check out our predictions below and let us know which team you think will win.

Prediction: USA wins, 15-13
Let's be honest. Picking the winner is like predicting a coin flip. These are two evenly matched teams. I like the United States to win on foreign soil for the first time since Tom Watson was last captain (1993). Look for Keegan Bradley and Phil Mickelson to have another successful week together and for the United States to pull off an upset that will have everyone overcome with anticipation for 2016.

Prediction: Europe wins, 15-13
A few weeks ago, I was thinking European rout. Having been in Gleneagles for the week, I'm now thinking it's much closer. The American team has embraced its underdog status and won't be a pushover. But I'm buying into the oh-so-secret European template of success. Combine that with their firepower and it's just hard for me to imagine any other outcome.

They will be again Brian Wacker, Writer Europe 15.5 - 12.5 It won't be as close as the score. Europe is simply too good and will be led by McIlroy, Poulter and Garcia D.J.
