Touring the Titleist golf ball plant

Each day, Titleist employees get up and churn out 300,000 Pro V1 and Pro V1x balls, as well as the dual-cores of the NXT Tour, at a cavernous 225,000 sq. ft. facility in New Bedford, Massachusetts, better known as Ball Plant 3.

The production facility that's acted as the backdrop for countless Titleist commercials has been open for years to invited guests and TOUR players. However, starting Nov. 20, you will no longer need a TOUR card to get through the doors.

The equipment manufacturer announced this week it will soon offer golfers the opportunity to visit Ball Plant 3 and witness how Pro V1 and Pro V1x are made first-hand.

"We’re excited to take our most loyal brand fans behind the curtain and reinforce why they can trust their game to us on every shot,” said Mary Lou Bohn, president, Titleist golf balls.

Each tour consists of six people with four tours scheduled on Mondays and Fridays. Only Team Titleist members (click here to register) will be able to join the walking tours.
