Jhonattan Vegas shot 64 and birdied his last three holes to win the RBC Canadian Open on Sunday for his first PGA TOUR win since 2011.
For Vegas, the final round comeback was made possible by an impressive tee-to-green performance that saw him pick up nearly five shots from tee-to-green (plus 4.859) on the field over his last 18 holes. He was also more than a stroke better than the competition off the tee (plus 1.184).
Vegas' driver is a perfect example of why it's important to stick with what works on the course. Even though his Nike VR driver is more than six years old, Vegas still managed to finish 11th in driving distance (323.5 yards) at Glen Abbey Golf Course, uncorking a 375-yard drive during the first round.
