Jason Dufner made par on the second hole of a sudden-death playoff to win the CareerBuilder Challenge in partnership with the Clinton Foundation.
In need of a strong finish to stay in the mix, the 4-time PGA TOUR winner reeled off four birdies on the back nine to finish at 25-under. Dunfer ended the week 14th in strokes gained putting (plus 2.980) using a Scotty Cameron Futura X7M putter.
Futura X7M is multi-material mallet — comprised of milled 303 Stainless Steel and high-grade 6061 aluminum — that features a lightweight aluminum face and sole core that is surrounded by a stainless-steel frame.
The face-sole core, which was used most recently in GoLo, is milled from aircraft-grade aluminum and works hand-in-hand with the stainless steel frame to enhances the weighting around the perimeter of the head for greater stability.
Compared to the X7, Dufner's X7M has a rounded shape and includes a new bar that connects the wings and moves the weight farther behind the putter face for a higher MOI. A pop-through rail alignment system was also created through the face-sole core for alignment purposes.
Here's a look at the rest of the equipment in Dufner's bag.
