  • Wilson to unveil retro staff bags

By Jonathan Wall, PGATOUR.COM Equipment Insider

Wilson Golf will turn back the clock this week at the Waste Management Phoenix Open with the release of a retro red and white Wilson Staff Centennial Pro Tour bag that honors the company's 100 year anniversary.

Padraig Harrington, Ricky Barnes and Kevin Streelman will use the special edition golf bag that features the vintage Wilson Staff shield and script on the side. According to Wilson, different variations of the red and white bag have been used over the years by a number of notable staffers, including major winners Gene Sarazen and Sam Snead.

"Wilson Golf has helped shape the game of golf with ground-breaking products endorsed by some of the sport's greatest players," said Tim Clarke, general manager for Wilson Golf. "Our star players of 2014 are now looking forward to showing off the new Centennial bags on tour and commemorating 100 years of heritage and innovation."
