Charles Schwab Cup Playoffs event returns to Sherwood C.C. October 26-28
THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. – Tournament officials announced today that tickets are now on sale for the 2018 Invesco QQQ Championship, the second of three events in the third annual Charles Schwab Cup Playoffs. A variety of ticket options have been crafted for fans at the newly rebranded PGA TOUR Champions tournament held in Thousand Oaks, California at Sherwood Country Club from October 22-28, 2018.
Good-Any-One-Day grounds tickets are available for $20, or fans can enjoy three days of grounds access for just $50 (Friday-Sunday). For every 2018 daily grounds ticket purchased between June 10 and October 12, the Invesco QQQ Championship will donate a daily grounds ticket to local charity through the Sherwood Cares Foundation. Clubhouse tickets are also available starting at $40 for a daily pass and $95 for a three-day pass (Friday-Sunday).
All active duty, Reserve, military retirees, veterans and their dependents receive complimentary Good-Any-One-Day grounds admission. Spectators redeeming complimentary military tickets must present a military ID at the admissions gate. Once onsite, they can enjoy the Patriots’ Outpost presented by United Rentals, a dedicated hospitality venue with complimentary food and soft drinks for all military and their dependents.
Fans are reminded that each year, youth 18 and younger are admitted free of charge to the Invesco QQQ Championship when accompanied by a ticketed adult. There is no limit to the number of youth 18 and younger who can attend with a ticketed adult.
“The Invesco QQQ Championship is excited to once again open its gates at Sherwood Country Club, where fans will witness the best players on PGA TOUR Champions compete to advance in the Charles Schwab Cup Playoffs,” said executive director, Phil Bough. “Between youths being admitted free with any ticketed adult, and military members and their families receiving complimentary admittance, it is extremely affordable to bring the family to enjoy professional golf in Southern California.”
The Invesco QQQ Championship is the second of three Playoffs events and will feature the top 54 players on the Charles Schwab Cup points list. Come Sunday of tournament week at the conclusion of the final round, 18 PGA TOUR Champions players will be eliminated and only the top 36 will advance to the Charles Schwab Cup Championship and compete for a chance to win the Charles Schwab Cup.
