PGA TOUR CHAMPIONS ONE AND DONE

One & Done: Toshiba Classic

PGA TOUR Champions One & Done presented by SERVPRO offers more fun and bragging rights in 2018. Competitors will be able to pick one player for each of the 24 events during the Regular Season and attempt to accumulate the highest total of Charles Schwab Cup money over the course of the season. In the One & Done format, once a player is picked, he cannot be selected again. So choose wisely.

You'll also be able to follow our panelists' progress right here each week as they make their picks, and offer two others.

TWO OTHERS CONSIDERED

Fred Couples
Kevin Sutherland

WHO WILL WIN

Billy Andrade

Couples is the no-brainer as a two-time champ and local resident, but we always need to be cautious about his back in inclement weather. Cool, damp conditions are forecast this weekend and he couldn't defend at the Chubb three weeks ago because of his recurring discomfort.

TWO OTHERS CONSIDERED

Fred Couples
Joe Durant

WHO WILL WIN

Billy Andrade

Andrade has two top-10 showings in his last three starts, including a T9 last week in Tucson. Finished T3 in Newport Beach in 2016.

EXPERT

KENYATTA RAMSEY

,

Director of Tournament Business Affairs

TWO OTHERS CONSIDERED

Billy Andrade
Scott Dunlap

WHO WILL WIN

Joe Durant

Durant plays the course well, historically, especially with a final-round 62 in 2015 to finish solo second. I think he contends and has a good chance to notch his second win of the season.

EXPERT

CHRIS RICHARDS

,

Communications manager, PGA TOUR Champions

TWO OTHERS CONSIDERED

Rocco Mediate
Gene Sauers

WHO WILL WIN

Scott Dunlap

Precision is more important than power at the old-school Newport Beach Country Club. For that reason, I’m picking Scott Dunlap, who leads the Tour in GIR (79.63%) and is coming off a T2 finish at the Cologuard Classic.

EXPERT

TWO OTHERS CONSIDERED

Jerry Kelly

WHO WILL WIN

Kevin Sutherland

The reigning Charles Schwab Cup champion has two top-five finishes in two career starts at the Toshiba Classic, and enters the week with four top-25 finishes this year.
