Toledo leads four qualifiers for Ally Challenge

Esteban Toledo birdied holes 15 through 17 at Flint Golf Club on Monday to post a 7-under 65 to qualify for the Ally Challenge. Mark Walker also turned in a 65 to stamp his spot. Dennis Hendershott and Todd Fischer shared third at 6-under 66 to earn the other two qualifier spots in the Ally Challenge.
Walker made a double bogey on 14, but made birdies on holes 16, 17 and 18 to qualify. Hendershott made eagle on the par-4 16th to vault up the leaderboard into position. Fischer made birdies on 15, 16 and 17.
Toledo is the most experienced of the qualifiers. He is a four-time PGA TOUR Champions winner and has made 16 starts this season. He ranks 56th on the Schwab Cup standings.
Walker made seven starts last year and will be making his first in 2019.
Hendershott will make his second PGA TOUR Champions start. He finished T70 at The Senior Open Championship.
Fischer will make his PGA TOUR Champions debut. He just turned 50 on August 23. Fischer made 150 career starts on the PGA TOUR and recorded nine top 10 finishes.
