Seattle native Rick Fehr will make his Champions Tour debut at the inaugural Pacific Links Championship in Hawaii shortly after turning 50 on Aug. 28. A two-time winner on the PGA TOUR with over 400 career starts to his credit, Fehr captured the 1986 B.C. Open by two strokes over Larry Mize and the 1994 Walt Disney World/Oldsmobile Classic by two strokes over Fuzzy Zoeller and Craig Stadler. A college star at Brigham Young University, he won All-American honors three years in succession, including first-team honors in 1984..

Favorite non-golf sport to watch on TV -- Football, especially the Seattle Seahawks and the Washington Huskies.

Favorite music on the iPod -- Contemporary Christian. Currently enjoying Switchfoot, Big Daddy Weave and Chris August.


Favorite teams as a kid and favorite athlete -- Dallas Cowboys (pre-Seahawks days). Favorite athlete was Ben Crenshaw.

Would love to trade places for a day with (and why) -- I'm content being me

Favorite computer bookmarks -- Lots of political and news sites. Across the board from the political left to the right.

First job -- Hand-picking the driving range at Sand Point Country Club in Seattle

Favorite meal -- My wife's southwestern lime chicken with ancho chile sauce.

Favorite restaurant when on Tour -- I can't remember. I've been away from the Tour for too long and I have the memory of a 50+ year-old!

One talent I'd most love to have -- Playing the guitar


Favorite athlete in another sport -- Triathletes ... The Holt Team ... incredibly inspiring. Not many athletes make me cry.

Favorite movie -- "Shawshank Redemption"; "The Fugitive"; "Inside Job" (documentary)

My wife would say my worst habit is -- Snoring

Course I've never played that I'd love to play -- Bandon Trails (I loved Bandon Dunes and Pacific Dunes!)

My most memorable vacation was --St. Thomas for my honeymoon

First concert -- Earth, Wind and Fire

I'd most like to sit down for a discussion with and why -- Mother Teresa. She set the standard for selfless love.

What I drive -- 2005 Honda Accord ... not much for wasting money on cars


My most memorable shot was -- My second shot on No. 17 at Disney Magnolia to three feet in the final round of the 1994 Walt Disney Oldsmobile Classic..

Favorite charity -- World Vision

Favorite activity outside golf -- Reading non-fiction to keep myself educated
