As far as shootouts go, the final round of last year's Dick's Sporting Goods Open was pretty spectacular.

Loren Roberts shot 7-under 65 to post a one-shot victory over Fred Funk, who matched the 65 and forced Roberts to birdie the final hole at En-Joie Golf Club in Endicott, N.Y.

At the 18th hole, Roberts hit a pitching wedge to within six feet and holed the putt to finish 15-under 201.

Roberts' round included an eagle at the 12th, where he holed a shot out of the rough to begin his back-nine charge. He went eagle-birdie-birdie and finally claimed the lead with another birdie at the 16th to wipe out a 5-shot deficit.

Is rested and ready to add to his win total and his impressive points lead in the Charles Schwab Cup points list. A three-time winner, he tops the Champions Tour in Greens in Regulation at 78.21 percent and is also No. 1 in Total Driving.
Tied for third last year at Dick's, he's posted five top 5 finishes this year, including a victory at the Toshiba Classic. Price is in the top six in eight statistical categories and is No. 3 in Putting Average and Scoring Average (68.53).
He obviously has a fondness for En-Joie, where he has been runner-up in each of the last two years. Funk returns to the Champions Tour after playing in the U.S. Open, where he played well enough against all comers to qualify for Congressional.
Won the Senior PGA Championship in a playoff in his most recent start. Watson is returning to En-Joie for the first time since 1976. He is third on the Charles Schwab Cup points list despite playing in only six Champions Tour events this year.
It looks like he's hitting his stride just in time to defend his title. Roberts is coming off a T5 in his last start at Rock Barn and has all three of his top 10 finishes in 2011 in the last four starts.
