The fifth and final major of the Champions Tour campaign is this week's Constellation Energy Senior Players Championship.

The 28th annual Constellation Energy Senior Players Championship -- the 23rd of 26 official events in the Charles Schwab Cup race -- will be held at TPC Potomac at Avenel Farm in Maryland.

Jay Haas is the defending champion. A final-round 64 in last year's championship gave Haas a one-stroke victory over Tom Watson. Haas rallied from five strokes behind Watson with his 8 under final round to post his second straight victory on the Champions Tour.

The signature shot of the championship came on the final hole where Haas hit a 6-iron from 195 yards to 3 feet and made the birdie putt.

He's won five times this year, including major titles at the Senior British Open and Senior U.S. Open, to all but put a hammerlock on an unprecedented third straight Player of the Year honor. A third major would be the icing on a very large cake.
Denied his fourth victory of the year at Rock Barn by Gary Hallberg's sensational final-round 61, Couples demonstrated his game is in excellent form heading into his final chance to win a major in his rookie year.
Twelve top-10 finishes in 16 starts is superb stuff. In his last eight events, only once has Price been worse than eighth. He's first in the Total Driving statistic, and driving is always a key element on a major championship course setup.
Loves the major stages and always plays well. Won the JELD-WEN Tradition, the most recent Champions Tour major. Lost a playoff in Korea and tied for ninth at Rock Barn. Funk is third on the Charles Schwab Cup points list.
He's got a Champions Tour major title ('09 Senior PGA) on his resume and used a solid showing last week at the PGA TOUR's Viking Classic as a springboard for the Senior Players. He finished second at 12 under behind Bill Haas.
