• Here is the leaderboard after 54 holes:

1. Brad Bryant (-15) 2. Mike Reid (-13) 3. John Cook (-12) 4. Larry Mize (-10) T5. Eduardo Romero and Loren Roberts (-9)

• Of the 18 JELD-WEN Traditions that have gone 72 holes, nine have been won by the leader/co-leader after 54 holes. Fred Funk was the 54-hole leader last year and Mark McNulty, the 2007 champion, was a co-leader after three rounds in 2007. Before McNulty, the last third-round leader to go on and win was Doug Tewell in 2001.

• In his Champions Tour career, Bryant has held sole possession of the lead heading into the final round a total of three times but he is still seeking his first win when in that position. The last time he was in sole possession of the lead came earlier this year at the Mitsubishi Electric Championship at Hualalai where he led by one stroke before finishing T6 in Hawaii.

• Bryant is trying to become the first player to go wire-to-wire in a Champions Tour major championship since Doug Tewell did so at the 2001 The Countrywide Tradition in Arizona. Bernhard Langer is the only player to go wire-to-wire this year, doing so at the Triton Financial Classic.

Fairways Hit 35 of 42 (83.3%) T18
Greens in Regulation 44 of 54 (81.5%) 3
Putts Per Round 27.7 T18
Driving Distance 285.7 T24

• Here are Bryant's statistics through three rounds:

• There could be more changes in the Charles Schwab Cup race with double points available for all top-10 finishers. The biggest prize will go to the victor, who will earn 784 points with a win in Sunriver. With his win at the recent U.S. Senior Open, Funk grabbed the lead in the season-long race from Langer, who had led since the start of the season. Funk leads Langer by 218 points and Roberts by 356 points. Joey Sindelar is fourth and Mize is fifth. Of the top five players on the list, only Funk (T9), Roberts (T5) and Mize (4th) are in the top 10.

• Sunday's final group will include Bryant, Cook and Reid. Cook (Liberty Mutual Legends of Golf/T3) and Bryant (Mitsubishi Electric Championship at Hualalai (T8) were in the final group one time this year. However, the last time Reid was in the last grouping was at the 2005 Allianz Championship in Iowa where he eventually finished third after being the 36-hole leader.

• Reid and Bryant are both bidding for their second major titles on the Champions Tour. Reid was the 2005 Senior PGA Championship winner and Bryant won the 2007 U.S. Senior Open.

• Cook, who trails Bryant by three strokes, goes into Sunday's final round with a string of 37 consecutive holes without a bogey in this event.

• Cook is the only player in the 68-man field to have posted three straight rounds in the 60s.

• This event has been important in earning a spot in the season-ending Charles Schwab Cup Championship. Only once has the winner of this event not qualified for the season-ending event for the top-30 money winners and that was in 1996 when Jack Nicklaus won the event and eventually placed 38th on the final money list. Nicklaus added a second victory that year but played in just seven official events.

• Reid and Scott Simpson posted the day's low rounds -- 6-under-par 66s.

• Funk's streak of consecutive holes without a three-putt ended at 130 when he three-putted the second hole. Funk shot a 1-over-par 73, his first round over par since a second-round 75 at the 3M Championship last month.

• Mize could be headed for his seventh top-10 finish in his last eight starts. Mize is currently fourth overall and trails Bryant by five strokes.
