Career Highlights
2022 Season
Joined PGA TOUR Canada in June after finishing 10th in the final PGA TOUR University rankings. Made starts in eight PGA TOUR Canada tournaments, making the cut in all eight while posting five top-10s, four of those top-fives. Qualified for the season-ending Fortinet Cup Championship and finished the season No. 9 on the Fortinet Cup standings. Late in the season, posted 16 consecutive rounds in the 60s, the streak snapped on the final day at the Fortinet Cup Championship.
-
Fortinet Cup Championship: Fired rounds of 67-68-69-74 to T8 at Deer Ridge GC in mid-September at the season-ender. The 74 was his first over-par round in seven weeks.
-
CRMC Championship presented by Gertens: Continued his solid rookie season, opening 63-63 then adding one more 63 in the final round to go with a 1-under 69 at Cragun’s Legacy Courses to T3 with Ryan Gerard, Thomas Walsh, Trent Phillips and Conner Godsey, four shots shy of winner Jake Knapp.
-
CentrePort Canada Rail Park Manitoba Open: Four sub-70 scores at Southwood G&CC, including a final-round 66, led to a T8 with four others in mid-August in Winnipeg.
-
Prince Edward Island Open presented by IMP Solutions: Was again in contention, this time at Dundarave GC in Cardigan in early July, using a pair of 67s in the second and final rounds to finish T4 with Myles Creighton and Trent Phillips, four shots behind champion Brian Carlson.
-
ATB Classic presented by Volvo Edmonton: In his PGA TOUR Canada debut, battled all week at Edmonton Petroleum G&CC, shooting a pair of weekend 66s—as well as an opening-round 66—to finish regulation tied with Wil Bateman and Jorge Villar. In the sudden-death playoff, starting on the 18th hole, all three players made birdie on the par-5. The trio returned to No. 18, and this time Bateman ended the playoff by chipping in for eagle. Finished T2 with Villar.
Amateur Highlights
- Was a 2021 honorable mention All-American. In 2019, was the West Coast Conference Freshman of the Year and a first-team All-WCC first-team selection.
- Won the 2022 NCAA Bryan (Texas) Regional in May, opening and closing with 69s to edge Chase Sienkiewicz and William Mouw by a shot.
- In October, won the Golf Club of Georgia Collegiate in Alpharetta, opening with a 63 and cruising to a four-shot triumph over 2020 champion, England’s Alex Fitzpatrick of Wake Forest.
- Held a two-stroke, 54-hole lead over Pepperdine teammate Sahith Theegala, and while he could only shoot a final-round 74 that score matched Theegala, the score was good enough for him to win by two shots.
- Captured the 2017 Washington State Amateur in August, posting a second-round 65 to go with his opening and closing 70s to defeat Derek Bayley by two strokes at Tumble Creek Club in Cle Elum, Washington.
