Personal
- Started playing golf when he was 7 years old with only a 9-iron; his brother was two years older at the time and began playing with a 7-iron. He decided at age 14 he wanted to do it for a living.
- Started golf partly because of his father, who worked at a bank which had a tournament for customers. His father was pressured by a colleague to play the following year, so his parents took up golf. Roughly 18 months later, Lukas and his brother began playing.
- His favorite golf memory as a fan was watching Tiger Woods for the first time at the Memorial Tournament in 2018, and he remembers having goosebumps. A year later, he met Tiger at The Genesis Invitational, which he played via an exemption tied to winning the 2019 Genesis Open Collegiate Showcase.
- Holds the 18-hole course record at Zimmerner GC in Germany.
- Would love to play in the World Series of Poker.
- Speaks German.
