• Is the grandson of Frank Strafaci, winner of the 1935 U.S. Amateur Public Links . Also won the 1938 and 1939 North and South Amateurs. Followed in Grandpa's footsteps, winning that same tournament in 2020.

Career Highlights

2022 Season

In 10 PGA TOUR Canada appearances, made five cuts that included three top-15s, all coming in the last month of the campaign. Qualified for the season-ending Fortinet Cup Championship and finished 49th on the Fortinet Cup standings.

• PGA TOUR Canada Q-School USA West 3: Was par or better in all four rounds to finish T14 with three others at The Home Course in DuPont, Washington, in late-April. Earned conditional PGA TOUR Canada status.

2021 Season

Played in three Forme Tour tournaments, making one cut. Finished the season 151st on the Points List.

Amateur Highlights

• Won the 2020 U.S. Amateur at Bandon Dunes, defeating Ollie Osborne in the final. In the previous rounds, took down Kelly Chinn, Julian Perico, Segundo Oliva Pinto, Stewart Hagestad and Aman Gupta leading into the finals.
• At Pinehurst No. 2 in North Carolina in 2020, made five birdies in the championship match, his last coming on the par-3 17th, sealing his victory against William Holcomb V, 3 and 1 for the title.
• At the 2020 Palmetto Amateur in Aiken, South Carolina, a week after winning the North and South Amateur, shot scores of 68-66-67-69 to defeat Greyson Porter and CJ Easley by a stroke.
