Sponsorship packages for the inaugural Nationwide Children's Hospital Invitational are sold out
Tournament officials announced today that all 20 of the available major sponsorship packages have been sold for the inaugural Nationwide Children's Hospital Invitational, to be played July 9 - 15, 2007 at The Ohio State University Golf Club - Scarlet Course.
"We are thrilled to have sold all available major sponsor packages for our inaugural tournament, including all Champions of the Community' sponsor packages," said John Aman, president of Champions of the Community, Inc., the event's host organization. "We thought that naming our organization Champions of the Community' would help communicate our mission to provide a world class professional golf tournament that operates as a vehicle to generate money for worthwhile charities in Central Ohio. The commitment these companies have shown our event is extraordinary and illustrates what a wonderful market Central Ohio is for both professional golf and philanthropy."
"Our successful sales process is a testament to the Nationwide Tour itself; people are responding to the product," added tournament Executive Director Kip Eriksen. "We will be looking to finalize additional sponsorships and promote ticket sales in the coming weeks to ensure the success of this year's tournament."

The inaugural Nationwide Children's Hospital Invitational will feature a purse of $700,000, the third largest on the Nationwide Tour. The Golf Channel will broadcast nine hours of prime time coverage from Thursday's opening round to the trophy presentation on Sunday. Two Pro-Am tournaments will take place during the week, The Safelite AutoGlass Celebrity Pro-Am on Monday, and the Huntington Bank Pro-Am played on Wednesday, July 11, 2007. Amateur playing spots for both Pro-Am tournaments are sold out.
Hospitality packages and tournament week tickets for the 2007 Nationwide Children's Hospital Invitational are available to the general public. Weekly tournament badges are available for $25 and daily tickets are being sold for $10. Additionally, volunteer applications are still being accepted.
