Nationwide Children's Hospital Invitational to
Tournament officials announced today the return of a unique program in central Ohio sports, whereby 100 percent of all general admission ticket revenue will be returned to charity. The Nationwide Children's Hospital Invitational Charity Ticket Program is designed to assist participating non-profit organizations make a difference in the central Ohio community.
The Nationwide Children's Hospital Invitational Charity Ticket Program not only provides participating non-profit entities with 100 percent of the profits from all tickets sales generated by, or designated for, their organization. It also includes an additional $20,000 bonus pool which is distributed at the end of the year and allows the involved non-profit organizations to benefit above and beyond what their own organization may generate. Contributing companies receive customized order forms as well as an internet presence at www.nchigolf.com. Patrons purchasing tickets online or at the gate during tournament week, July 27 - August 2, 2009, will be required to select a charity from the available list.
The inaugural program, launched in 2008 for the second playing of the Nationwide Children's Hospital Invitational, was a tremendous success. A total of 28 companies participated, and including the bonus pool collectively raised more than $77,000 for charity.

In it's first two years the Nationwide Children's Hospital Invitational has raised a total of $__________for charitable organizations in central Ohio. That total marked the largest two-year charitable donation raised by a second-year Nationwide Tour event in the Tour's 19-year history. The return of the Charity Ticket Program puts The Nationwide Children's Hospital Invitational in an ideal position to continue to build upon their record setting two year amount.
In conjunction with the announced return of the Charity Ticket Program tickets are now officially available for the 2009 Nationwide Children's Hospital Invitational, to be held July 27 - August 2 at The Ohio State University Golf Club - Scarlet Course. The tournament integrates the top professionals on the Nationwide Tour with the top amateurs from the collegiate ranks to create a unique field of 144 of the best up and coming players in the United States.

The Nationwide Children's Hospital Invitational is owned and operated by Champions of the Community, Inc., an Ohio non-profit corporation.
