2014 Charities

South Carolina Charities, Inc. has selected 25 charities to benefit from the 2014 golf tournament. Each charity will have the opportunity to raise funds for their organization by participating in tournament-sponsored programs including ticket sales, pro-am foursome sales and by having individuals volunteer on behalf of their charity.

The 2014 charities include: 100 Black Men of the Upstatem A Child's Haven, Child Evangelism Fellowship of Greenville, Child Evangelism Fellowship of Spartanburg, The First Tee of Greenville, Furman University - The Riley Institute, Greenville Family Partnership, Greenville Tech Foundation, Inc.,, Habitat for Humanity of Greenville County, Harvest Hope Food Bank, JDRF - Greater Western Carolinas Chapter, Make-A-Wish Foundation of SC, Mobile Meals of Spartanburg, National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA), New Foundations Home for Children, Palmetto Animal Assisted Life Services (PAALS), Play Safe, Inc., Project HOPE Foundation, The Reserve at Lake Keowee Charitable Foundation, Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Carolinas, Scottish Rite Foundation, Set Free Alliance, Shriners Hospitals for Children - Greenville,, Vested Partners, and The Walker Foundation for the SC School for the Deaf and Blind.

Since 2001, the tournament has raised $9.98 million for 150+ charities, putting the tournament on the road to raising $10 million after the 2014 tournament. The PGA TOUR is set to reach a milestone of $2 billion raised for charity during the 2014 season.
