Albertsons is committed to relieving hunger, improving dietary health and providing nutrition education for children in the Treasure Valley. Starting in 2011, the Boise Open tournament proceeds will be focused specifically on these areas benefitting youth. Organizations with a primary mission of relieving hunger, improving dietary health or providing education on nutrition for children may apply for a grant by submitting a Letter of Inent. The primary audience for the program MUST be children. Letters should be no longer than two pages and must include the following:

1. A brief overview of the organization and its mission
2. Details on the specific program/initiative for which you are requesting funds
3. Information on how the program relieves hunger, improves dietary health and/or provides nutrition education for children in the Treasure Valley
4. A copy of your IRS 501C3 Letter (not included in 2 pages)

Letters are due by March 1, 2012. Organizations with a program or initiative that fits the above criteria must no longer wait 3 years before submitting a Letter of Intent.
