
PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla. -- As the PGA TOUR’s first full-field event of 2013, this week’s Sony Open in Hawaii will feature the debut of the Web.com Tour class of 2012. All 25 graduates who earned their PGA TOUR cards based on their finish on the Web.com Tour money list in October will be at Waialae Country Club in Honolulu for the $5.6 million tournament.

Fifteen of the 25 players are first-year members of the PGA TOUR (denoted by “R” next to their name in the chart above). Ben Kohles, born Feb. 24, 1990, is the youngest member of the class of 2012. He is 24 days younger than Luke Guthrie (Jan. 31, 1990).
The class of 2011 saw two of its graduates win in their first year on the PGA TOUR in 2012 -- Ted Potter, Jr. (The Greenbrier Classic) and Jonas Blixt (Frys.com Open). Web.com Tour alumni entered the 2013 season with a total of 345 wins on the PGA TOUR.
The Sony Open in Hawaii features a 144-player field, of which 99 are Web.com Tour alumni.
The 2013 Web.com Tour season kicks off next month with three events in Latin America, beginning with the Panama Claro Championship in Panama City (Feb. 21-24), Colombia Championship in Bogotá (Feb. 28-31) and the Chile Classic in Santiago (March 7-10).
