The Zimbabwe native was a true ironman on the Nationwide Tour in 2008 when he participated in 28 of 30 events. Brendon de Jonge was second on the money list and earned a return trip to the PGA TOUR in 2009.
• He finished inside the top 25 a whopping 60 percent of the time. De Jonge was so consistent in 2008 that he led the money list for seven straight weeks at the end of the season before Matt Bettencourt overtook him in the final event.
• De Jonge, who attended Virginia Tech and now lives in Charlotte, N.C., ranked third in scoring average. Over the 101 rounds he played in 2008, de Jonge averaged 69.78 strokes.
• His lone victory of the season -- his first on the Nationwide Tour -- came at the Xerox Classic. De Jonge beat Jarrod Lyle by four strokes at the tournament in Rochester, N.Y.
