CROMWELL, Conn. -- A strong field is at TPC River Highlands after last week's U.S. Open. That includes Erik Compton, who tied for second at Pinehurst No. 2. Here's a closer look at who else to watch this week. Click here for tee times (all times ET).
Matt Kuchar-Dustin Johnson-Ken Duke -- 12:50 p.m., No. 1 on Thursday; 7:50 a.m., No. 10 on Friday: Johnson and Kuchar are coming off strong performances at the U.S. Open, where they finished fourth and 12th, respectively. Duke, meanwhile, is the defending champion.
Patrick Reed-Zach Johnson-Sergio Garcia -- 1 p.m., No. 1 on Thursday; 8 a.m., No. 10 on Friday: Keep an eye on Garcia's knee; it was sore during last week's U.S. Open. He's also making his first appearance here since 2009. Johnson and Reed have been struggling of late but birdie-friendly TPC River Highlands could help.
Ben Crane-Bubba Watson-Hunter Mahan -- 7:50 a.m., No. 10 on Thursday; 12:50 p.m., No. 1 on Friday: What do Watson and Mahan have in common? Both got their first PGA TOUR victory here -- Watson's came in 2010, Mahan's in 2007. Crane, meanwhile, won just two weeks ago in Memphis.
Jason Day-Keegan Bradley-Erik Compton -- 8 a.m., No. 10 on Thursday; 1 p.m., No. 1 on Friday: Compton is coming off a career-best runner-up at the U.S. Open, while Bradley and Day also appear to be in fine form after both tied for fourth last week.
