Jim Renner entered the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am going 0-for-4 against the cut this season on the PGA TOUR but left the event a champion.

Renner, the Web.com Tour graduate who shared runner-up honors with Dustin Johnson in the main event, teamed with Consolidated Restaurant Operations CEO John Harkey Jr. to claim the pro-am portion of the competition by one shot.

Renner and Harkey shot an 11-under 61 Sunday to erase a six-shot deficit and rally past the second-place tandem of Rory Sabbatini and Toms Shoes founder Blake Mycoskie (68). The duo had a chance to even the score on No. 9 (their last hole of the day) but were unable to convert their birdie putt.

Finishing third, four shots off the pace, were Rafael Cabrera-Bello and Dermot Desmond.
