Scott Stallings rose to a career-high 53rd in the Official World Golf Ranking after his Farmers Insurance Open victory on Sunday, all but ensuring his first appearance in the World Golf Championships-Accenture Match Play Championship.

Stallings started the Farmers Insurance Open at No. 112 in the OWGR. He has made just one previous appearance in an official WGC, finishing 29th in the 2011 WGC-Bridgestone Invitational.

Players have two more weeks to qualify for the Accenture Match Play. The top 64 players in the Feb. 10 edition of the OWGR qualify for the tournament, which will be played Feb. 19-23 at The Golf Club at Dove Mountain in Marana, Ariz. If a player in the top 64 does not play in the Match Play, he will be replaced by the next available player in the ranking.

Marc Leishman moved from 68th to 57th in the OWGR after finishing in a five-way tie for second at Torrey Pines, one shot behind Stallings. Leishman has never played the WGC-Match Play.

Thorbjorn Olesen and Mikko Ilonen also moved inside the top 64. Olesen, who finished third in last week’s Qatar Masters, moved from 69th to 60th in this week’s OWGR. Ilonen improved from 91st to 62nd after losing a playoff to Sergio Garcia in Qatar. Ilonen, who is seeking his first Match Play appearance, won the 2000 British Amateur, a match-play tournament.
