Nifty approach

Phil Mickelson hits his 118-yard approach shot to 12 feet on the par-4 13th hole and sinks the birdie putt.

DUBLIN, Ohio -- After falling 2-down early, Phil Mickelson and Keegan Bradley rallied for a 2 and 1 win over Ernie Els and Brendon de Jonge.


The momentum switched when Mickelson reached the par-5 11th in two and two-putted for birdie and the win, while De Jonge missed a 5-footer to halve. Mickelson then stuck his tee shot on the par-3 12th to 8 feet and made the putt before adding a third straight birdie when he made a 10-foot putt on the next hole. Mickelson and Bradley never trailed again and improved to 2-1 this week.


Phil Mickelson. You could almost go either way with this but Mickelson had one more birde to win a hole than Bradley did.
