DUBLIN, Ohio -- Thursday's Four-ball matches at The Presidents Cup have been suspended due to the threat of dangerous weather in the area.
The horn blew to suspend play at 2:38 p.m. ET. Players have been taken off the course so the delay could be a lengthy one. The weather radar shows a thick band of showers headed for the Columbus area.
When play was suspended, the U.S. led in five of the six matches while Charl Schwartzel has just birdied the ninth hole to square his match with Phil Mickelson and Keegan Bradley. Schwartzel is playing with Louis Oosthuizen.
Here are how the other matches stand:
Hunter Mahan and Brandt Snedeker are 1 up through 10 holes in their match with Jason Day and Graham DeLaet.
Bill Haas and Webb Simpson are 1 up through nine holes in their match with Adam Scott and Hideki Matsuyama.
Steve Stricker and Jordan Spieth are 2 up through seven holes in their match with Ernie Els and Brendon de Jonge.
Matt Kuchar and Tiger Woods are 2 up throuugh six holes in their match with Angel Cabrera and Marc Leishman.
Zach Johnson and Jason Dufner are 4 up through six holes in their match with Branden Grace and Richard Sterne.
