ALL-TIME PRESIDENTS CUP RECORDS
8-5-1 (2-3-0 Four-Ball)
1-3-1 (1-1-0 Four-Ball)
United States: Snedeker calls Mahan a "safety net" because he expects his partner to hit fairways and greens -- Mahan ranks 25th in both categories on TOUR. Snedeker, on the other hand, can be a birdie matchine and ranks fourth in strokes-gained putting. The two have known each other since their junior golf days and while this is a first-time partnership, it will be a comfortable one."Hunter and I have our hands full," Snedeker said. "I feel really comfortable about our chances." -- Helen Ross, PGATOUR.COM
International: With seven Presidents Cup rookies on the roster, Nick Price wanted to spread his experience around, starting with Muirfield Village member Day in a pairing he felt was important given fast starts by the U.S. in the past."Those two guys are very keen to get going," Price said. "For all of us, it was an obvious choice who we were going to put out first." - Brian Wacker, PGATOUR.COM
Helen Ross: International. Day and DeLaet appear to have jelled.
Brian Wacker: International. It's Day's home course.
