DUBLIN, Ohio -- The start of the Presidents Cup is still a day away, but Jason Day and Graham DeLaet already have a win this week at Murifield Village.

The two had the low score, an 8-under 64, in the International Team's practice round foursomes on Tuesday, and Captain Nick Price awarded them with a special trophy at the team dinner later that evening.

Though Price told players to keep score during the first practice session of the week, they weren't aware what they were playing for.

Given the International Team's abysmal record in foursomes -- 58-105-26 -- Price wanted to add a little something extra to the otherwise casual day.

The plaque features part of Price's putter that he famously snapped after losing to Kenny Perry in the 2003 Presidents Cup at Fancourt, where Price missed an 8-foot putt on the final hole.

Price hopes to continue the trophy tradition at future Presidents Cups.
