Rory McIlroy confirmed on Friday that he has terminated his contract with Horizon Sports Management.

The former world No. 1 will now be represented by his own firm, Rory McIlroy Inc. Donal Casey, whose experience includes more than 20 years as chief executive of Irish Life Corporate Business and a little over one year as director of strategy for Horizon, will be the company's CEO.

McIlroy's charitable foundation will be run by longtime family friend Barry Funston, who will also serve on the company's board, along with McIlroy's father, Gerry.

This marks the second change in management in the 24-year-old's career. McIlroy joined Horizon, which also represents close friend Graeme McDowell, among others, after leaving International Sports Management and agent Chubby Chandler in October 2011.
