NORTON, Mass. -- Keegan Bradley grew up in Vermont and played collegiately at St. Johns University in New York, so needless to say he had more than a few fans in the gallery at TPC Boston on Saturday.
"Deutsche Bank, thanks to them, they gave me 150 tickets," Bradley said. "Looks like we're using most of them. I've got a lot of people out here."
He didn't disappoint them.
Bradley shot a 6-under 65 to get to 8 under for the week and in contention at the Deutsche Bank Championship.
Among the highlights: A 45-footer he holed for birdie on the par-4 14th. He followed with birdies on each of the next two holes, too.
Bradley added three more birdie on the front nine, including a 20-footer from just off the fifth green.
"My game feels like it's in really, really good shape," Bradley said. "It's the best I've felt in awhile."
Did Bradley feel any pressure playing in front of so many friends and family?
"Yes," he said. "They're really good about letting me do my thing and recharge. But it's great to see everybody out there."
