Cleaned up at Liberty National en route to a one-fourth of a share of second place. Played the front nine in bogey-free 8-under. A 72nd-hole bogey served as a microcosm as to why he lands here. Although he ranked T4 in greens in regulation, third in proximity and third in scrambling, he was T54 in strokes gained-putting. He's obviously learned to cope with the stress his 14th club lays on his ball-striking, but the tipping point this week is that he's just 2-for-5 at TPC Boston with no top 50s.
