Collins turns a 27 to tie record

Chad Collins matched the 9-hole Tour record with a 27 Friday at the Utah Championship Presented by Utah Sports Commission, where he made seven birdies and an eagle on the back nine at Willow Creek Country Club.

Notah Begay III and Doug Dunakey also recorded 27s, both in 1998. Both went on to shoot 59, the lowest score ever recorded in Tour history (Jason Gore also shot a 59.)

With nine holes to go can Collins go even lower? Track his scorecard here.
