Billy Horschel has the longest active cuts-made streak on the PGA TOUR at 20. Now he's looking to take it a step further.
Horschel shot a 4-under 68 Thursday at TPC San Antonio, where he has a share of the early lead with Padraig Harrington.
It's the second straight week Horschel has played well -- he tied for second last week in Houston.
As for the last time Horschel missed the cut? Last year's HP Byron Nelson Championship. Barring something strange, he should extend the streak to 21.
Jason Gore and Brian Davis are another stroke back at 3 under.
Jordan Spieth had a share of the lead at 4 under as well, but a triple bogey on the par-5 eighth (his 17th hole) dropped the 19-year-old back to 2 under.
