The threesome of Phil Mickelson, Sergio Garcia and Brandt Snedeker didn't exactly have a strong finish on Thursday at the Arnold Palmer Invitational presented by MasterCard.

Snedeker carded a triple-bogey 6 on the par-3 17th en route to a opening-round, 4-over 76.

Mickelson, who is using a new putter this week, missed a short par putt on the 18th en route to a 73.

Garcia was the only player to survive the finish -- which included a eagle at the 16th -- to post a even-par 72.
