BETHESDA, Md. -- D.H. Lee shot his lowest score of the season and the lowest of the week, a 64, Sunday at Congressional.
Now he'll have to wait and see if it's good enough.
Lee has the clubhouse lead at 8 under after nine birdies and just two bogeys in the final round of the AT&T National, but he trails leader Bill Haas, who is still on the course, by two.
Also at 8 under is Roberto Castro, who is playing alongside Haas in the day's final group.
A day after shooting 75, Lee birdied six of his first eight holes Sunday, including five in a row at one point.
He bogeyed the 10th and 11th holes to fall out of a share of the lead but bounced back with three birdies over his final seven holes, including on the difficult 15th and 18th holes, where he sank putts from 17 and 25 feet, respectively.
