LA JOLLA, Calif. -- Keep your fingers crossed. The fog appears to have burned off and the third round of the Farmers Insurance Open is now scheduled to resume at 3:20 p.m. ET.
Only two groups have teed off with one electing to finish their first hole. The most recent delay, coupled with the earlier one of three hours, brings the total idle time to four hours and 55 minutes.
Thanks to the delay, the final group of Tiger Woods, who owns a two-stroke lead in pursuit of his seventh Farmers Insurance Open title; Billy Horschel and Casey Wittenburg, will tee off at 5:40 p.m. ET (3:40 p.m. PT). Sunset is expected at 8:15 p.m. ET.
