LA JOLLA, Calif. -- Tiger Woods continues his adventurous opening round on the South Course during the Farmers Insurance Open.
Woods birdied the first hole but gave that back -- and then some -- when he three-putted the fourth hole for double bogey. But Woods followed with a birdie at the fifth hole and just holed a bunker shot for an eagle at No. 6 to get to 2 under.
Defending champion Brandt Snedeker continues to own a share of the lead at 5 under. He's played 11 holes and is tied with fellow Vanderbilt product and PGA TOUR rookie Luke List, who has completed 10.
Vijay Singh, Bryce Molder, Brian Stuard and Nicholas Thompson are playing their second nine holes at 4 under. There are 12 players tied at 3 under, including former PGA champ Keegan Bradley and Nicolas Colsaerts, the big-hitting Belgian who is making his PGA TOUR debut.
