2013 PREVIEW: Many expected big-hitting Vandy graduate Luke List, who was runner-up at the 2004 U.S. Amateur, to punch his ticket to the PGA TOUR sooner. But he's made steady progress on the Web.com Tour -- moving from 78th to 27th to fourth on the money list -- and will be looking to continue that trend.

2012 DEFINING MOMENT: List handled the pressure of contention well at the South Georgia Classic, owning the 36-hole lead and sharing it after three rounds before winning by two. He closed with a 68 that included the day's only eagle at the monster 657-yard par-5 13th hole to win by two. – Helen Ross, PGATOUR.COM

ALBERS’ QUICK TAKE: The first thing I'm going to say to Luke is, "What took you so long?" I watched List play college golf at Vanderbilt and figured he was well prepared for the PGA TOUR. It did not turn out that way. List turned professional in 2007 and struggled until winning The South Georgia Classic and finishing second three times. I would be shocked if Luke did not play well this year on the PGA TOUR. He's a very smart person with a very good swing, whose time has come.– Fred Albers, SiriusXM PGA TOUR Radio

BOLTON’S FANTASY OUTLOOK: I'm bullish, but I'm also cautious. His foray on the PGA TOUR is merely the next step in his natural progression, one that has taken a deliberate pace over the years, not that that's a knock. His skill set as a bomber evokes 2011 Web.com Tour grad Jason Kokrak, but List arrives on the scene with more cachet. Bottom line, he's worth the risk. -- Rob Bolton, PGATOUR.COM Fantasy expert
