Jason Day has put together quite a run over the course of two days
at the J.T. Shriners Hospitals for Children Open. Day has made 17
birdies in his past 24 holes. After making 10 birdies in his last
15 holes in Saturday's third round of 64, Day opened with six
birdies in his first seven holes on Sunday to pull within three
shots of leader Ryan Moore. Day has since birdied No. 9 to card an
outward 28 and pull within two shots of Moore. It's been an
up-and-down season for Day, who has three top 10s and is 97th on
the money list.
