ATLANTA -- Early in their fifth head-to-head meeting of the FedExCup Playoffs. Tiger Woods has the upper hand over Rory McIlroy.
Woods birdied the second and third holes at East Lake, first draining a 21-footer and then converting from 5. He bogeyed No. 4, though, when he found the greenside bunker, blasted out to the fringe and missed from 17 feet to save par.
McIlroy, who entered the week ranked first in the FedExCup, bogeyed the first hole, missing a 15-footer to save par. But he got that stroke back with a 17-foot birdie putt on the third hole.
