SEASON IN REVIEW: Johnson won twice during the Regular Season, accomplishing the feat for the third time in his career and bringing his career victory total to nine. He also posted two runner-up finishes -- the second of which came at THE PLAYERS, two weeks before he won the Crowne Plaza Invitational for the second time in three years. His win at the John Deere Classic (where he serves on the board of directors) was the closest thing Johnson ever has to a home game, and he capped the year by earning a spot on his good friend Davis Love III's Ryder Cup team. -- Helen Ross

EAST LAKE HISTORY: This is Johnson's sixth start in the TOUR Championship, and his first since 2010, when he tied for ninth after carding rounds of 66-67 on the weekend. Since the FedExCup began in 2007, Johnson's best finish at East Lake is a tie for second in 2007, when he posted a sizzling 60 in the third round.
ALBERS’ QUICK TAKE: Fred Albers, on-course
correspondent for SiriusXM PGA TOUR Radio, provides a quick look at
Johnson:
I watched Zach shoot 60 at East Lake in the third back in 2007,
so obviously it's a good course for him. Zach moved his hands
slightly more forward at address while putting and it's keyed a
great season. The movement is so slight, I can't see it but I can
see the improved results with a pair of victories this
year.
