GREENSBORO, N.C. – Jason Dufner’s bid to take over No. 1 in the FedExCup standings hit a snag at the par-3 seventh hole.

He found the creek in front of the green and made a double bogey to fall back into a tie for sixth at 12 under, three strokes behind Sergio Garcia. Dufner, who started the week ranked No. 3, is now projected at second.
