PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. -- Because of a delay that will have lasted nearly two hours, the final group of Rory McIlroy, Harris English and Tom Gillis is now scheduled to tee off at 12:20 p.m. ET. If there are no other delays, that would allow enough time for the round to be completed with sunset at 6:23 p.m.
10:30 a.m.: The range has re-opened here at PGA National, where play is expected to resume at 11:30 a.m. ET.
9:39 a.m.: Despite moving the tee times up due to the threat of bad weather, play was suspended at 9:39 a.m. ET at The Honda Classic.
Players were able to get in just over an hour of golf with the first groups having gone out off both tees and in threesomes at 8:30 before play was halted due to dangerous weather in the area.
The sky is overcast and the wind has been blowing in the 25-30 mph range, but the real problem is about 5 miles away with a band of thunderstorms moving toward the area.
